We started to compile our data set in November 2020, with a small number of our regular clients who provided access to every quote they generated, to ensure we had complete visibility on all repairs and the number requiring calibration.
Over the following months, we increased the number of repairers we were working with in this manner, to build the largest, most accurate data set in Australia. As we expanded the number of repair sites taking advantage of this free service from July 2021, we now monitor vehicles from 2015 onwards, as prior to this date, the volume was too low to justify tracking. From 2015 onwards, the percentage requiring calibration is on a significant upward trend.
Total Calibrations is a measure of repairs that led to calibration being required, as opposed to the number of vehicles fitted with ADAS.
Our Data Set below allows you to drill down into specifics as required, but the main data is updated monthly, so it is worth checking back each month to watch these numbers increasing.
